Synopsis
A fabulous, frivolous radio play set in the 1940s. If infuses the story of a world on the brink with romance, wit and a spy story.
This successful and popular full length play was produced back in 2016 at Noosa Arts by Director Jane Rivers. Jane is now bringing this fabulously 40’s era play back to the stage as a live radio play complete with live sound effects, vintage costuming and some special guests set against the backdrop of a radio broadcasting studio. Joe Landry has written a radio play based on the novel by John Buchan, which later become an iconic movie by the Master of Suspense, Alfred Hitchcock.
This is a frenetic ‘seat of your pants’ ride combining a spy thriller, a feisty love story and a world ‘on the brink’. Will our hero unravel the mystery of The 39 Steps and just who is the Chief?’ All this and more will be revealed in this fast paced and funny radio play.
